Dj Mickey Dulanto Bio Page

DJ Mickey “MicXSession” Dulanto, a native New Yorker, began DJ’ing in the early 80’s through his break dancing. His DJ’ing style, a fusion of Latin, Nu-Jazz, House, Electro, Tech & World Music, gave him opportunities to play in popular clubs, restaurants, lounges, and at events in New York City. These include Delia’s, Water Taxi Beach, Starlight Lounge, Wonder Bar, Mixx Lounge, Sound Factory, Twilo, Don Hill, Santos, The Duplex, Union Square Lounge, Bar d’O, Wonder Bar, Thompson Hotel, W Hotel, Indochine, Kittichai, Wigstock, Bond Street Restaurant, Joe’s Pub, APT, Nells, Purple, Le Souk, and Save the Robots.

His passion for music and dance clubs also showed in his position at New York’s most well-known record store for underground music, Dancetracks, where from 1999-2007, he helped introduce new releases to other dj’s and music lovers. Mickey currently DJ’s twice a week in the Lower East Side—“Randy-Apple” at Sin Sin lounge on Mondays, and “Bump and Micx” at One and One on Wednesdays.
