DJ Paul Quintana
is a Citizen DJ of The House Masons Nation,
Currently Paul has a Internet Radio Show,
Live Every Sunday 5pm-8pm here on HouseMasons.com. Resident Bronx DJ, Paul Quintana, grew up in the South Bronx listening to the sounds of Kenny Carpenter, Jellybean and Toney Humphries when partying at “Studio 54,” “Broadway 96,” “Fun House,” and “Bonds International” in the early 80’s. And at just the young age of 16, his exposure to the dance music scene inspired him to spin at local neighborhood parties and family gatherings until life had a way of pulling him elsewhere. After approximately fifteen years in hiatus, its tempting rhythms found a way to lure him back in when the time was right. Places such as “Coney Island’s Board Walk,” “Water Taxi,” and “Louie Vega’s ‘Summer Madness’ Boat Ride” reconnected him with a blend of songs he couldn’t escape; Deep Tribal, Latin house and Classics surrounded his element until he began spinning again, this time with his own signature style: A merge of yesterdays and today’s house music. You can catch him playing soulful tunes at an intimate setting in the Bronx entitled “Bruckner Bar & Grill” (Underneath 138th street bridge) at his monthly event, and also spinning at Crossovers, Orchard Beach and various online radio shows. |
